Personal Description:

Hi everyone, my name is Garnya and here is a bit about my teaching journey. I have always had a passion for teaching and I could not image myself doing anything else. I am committed, result-oriented and evolving as I am always seeking new ways to improve my teaching practice. Whether you're trying to get your head wrapped around numbers or tackle those challenging questions, you are not alone as we can unpack these questions together and make it an enjoyable.

Tuition Experience:

Working in the tutoring industry for more that 6 years has deepened my professional learning experience as a mentor, tutor and teacher. I have worked with a range of students from Kindy to Year 12 as well as children around 4 years old to prepare them for an exciting schooling year ahead. My experience working with children with learning disabilities such as ADD and ADHD has given me the privilege to make learning inclusive and engaging of all students. I have worked with several tutoring companies both online and in person, some of which include tutor doctor, E2A and Northshore tutoring. Furthermore, I have branched out to do my own private tuition which has given me flexibility to crea**Contact Detail Removed**arning programs that are unique and engaging for all learners. In my teaching degree, I completed 3 placements at local primary schools where I worked closely with classroom teachers and assistant principles to further improve my teaching strategies.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tuition follows the modelled, guided and independent learning strategies, followed by student-centred learning where I provide students with opportunities to consolidate their learning at the end and act as a knowledgeable other to reteach that concept to me. I believe that giving students that autonomy and self confidence is of paramount importance in building a positive self efficacy. I aim to designing learning goals that are tailored to students' needs and interest as well as refining those skills weekly.
