Personal Description:
Hi there! My name is Dr Edward and I am a highly successful College and University Tutor of Social Sciences, Humanities including Philosophy and English. I have published widely in the social sciences and have an international reputation for high quality research. I have a PhD in Political Science, an MA in Social and Political Research and Bsc (Hons) in Politics and Sociology. I increase the scores of all my students and increase their self confidence and understanding of how to succeed.
I have published a number of articles on political engagement, including the seminal article: (2004) "Young Citizens and Changing Electoral Turnout 1964-2001" in the Political Quarterly and my work has been cited widely by academics and policy makers in the UK and worldwide.
Tuition Experience:
I have many years experience in teaching secondary, college and degree students in social sciences and humanities.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to teach my students based on how they prefer to learn. Every student is different - therefore I tailor my lessons to ensure my students get the most benefit out of their sessions. Whilst teaching, I like to instill confidence in my students and enthusiasm for their study. I am friendly and reliable and understand what it is like to be a student as I studied for many years!
