ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Cathy. I graduated from Methodist Ladies' College as dux of 2016 with a perfect ATAR of 99.95 through the International Baccalaureate Diploma program.
I achieved perfect scores in IB Chemistry HL, IB Economics HL, IB Chinese B HL, IB Biology SL, IB English A Literature, IB Maths SL (anticipated).I also achieved very high scores in IAs and written assignments.
I am currently working full-time as a doctor. I graduated from the University of Melbourne: Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2023 and graduated from Bachelor of Biomedicine Chancellors' Scholar (with H1 honours) at University of Melbourne, majoring in Neuroscience.

TUTORING EXPERIENCE
Tutoring IB students for the past 8 years with over 50 students, many of whom have achieved a 7 in their subject.
As a former IB student, I truly understand the challenges this program poses for students. I believe that as a tutor, I can pinpoint the key aspects that students need to grasp in order to achieve high scores.
For me, the key to my success in IB was strictly following the syllabus points. As your tutor, I will guide you through the course with clarity and precision, allowing you to feel more prepared than ever to tackle that final exam. I provide plenty of resources, notes, essays, IAs as reference to enrich the tutoring experience.
I have also tutored Year 7-10 students as well as primary school students in Maths, Science and English. Please message me for more details!

I offer both private and group tuition. I prefer to teach online (via Zoom). Lessons start at $150/hr (private) and variable for group lessons (depending on size). Feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding rates, location, style of teaching etc!
