Information about Bianca - Stanmore tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Bianca. I graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance in 2016 and have been working in Commercial Banking since February 2016. I have always had a passion for Mathematics, particularly tutoring students as I have found it to be very rewarding.

Tuition Experience:

I have been tutoring Mathematics since 2015. I tutor Primary school students as well as High school students and I specialise in Advanced Mathematics & Extension 1 Mathematics for preliminary and HSC course.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to take a demonstration method with my students. Following the syllabus & the school text book we work through topics and I demonstrate examples and then will allow the student to attempt a similar question. Leading up to an exam I focus on completing past papers with my students, particularly students in Year 11 and 12 as I have always found practice has made perfect. Usually I will set the expectation with my students' parents that they are responsible for monitoring their child over the week and making sure they are doing their home work and that they place a certain level of accountability with their child in terms of being organised and ready for each lesson.
