Information about Amy - Deception Bay tutor

Personal Description:

Hello!

My name is Amy . I live in the Redcliffe area, am married and have two young children. I currently teach part time in primary levels and on my days 'off' spend time with my children and enjoy being creative.

I have always had a passion for art and creativity and would love to teach / coach your child to expand their creative flare. I believe every child has the ability to be creative in their own way and I would love the opportunity to help them unlock their talent and pave the way for their future.

Tuition Experience:

I graduated with a Bachelor of Primary Education at QUT in 2010. Since then I have had a range of experience in the following areas:

- Distance Education
- Art activity days for distance education students and families
- Learning support
- Primary classroom teaching
- Teaching and writing art curriculum in primary and lower secondary levels.

I have taught a range of subject areas but Visual Arts is my passion.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand everyone gets frustrated with art and it not being 'perfect' or what they see in art galleries or magazines. I am here to break that barrier and teach that no way in art is the 'right way', you can be messy, fun and experimental and achieve unique results.

I can provide art tuition with materials/ resources you have or for an additional fee I can bring my own resources for your child to use.
