Personal Description:

I am currently studying French, German and Translation at DCU, so there is no need to doubt my love for languages!

After completing my LC I understand how difficult and stressful exams can be, and as such I would love to help students not only pass these exams, but excel in them!

Tutoring Experience:

I have earned a certificate from UCLouvain in the teaching of French as a foreign language. I have been tutoring French and German for over a year, at both a Leaving Cert and Junior Cert level. With my students, we have covered each aspect of the language: oral, aural, written and reading through student-specific lesson plans as well as exam papers.

Approach to Grinds:

My grinds will have a particular focus on the oral aspect of the language, as not only is it an important part of a language, but it is the most efficient part for secondary school exams. If a student can perform well in their oral exam, they will be easily able to use these skills in the written, reading and listening sections of their exam.

However I can also focus on the written, reading and listening sections if needed!

Each lesson would typically last for 1 hour. This can be varied if needed, particularly before exams.

My lessons are for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students, however any beginner is welcome.
