Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Yuuki, I am from Ibaraki, Japan. I relocated to Ireland just before the onset of the pandemic, and have had a fulfilling 4 years since then.

Back in Japan, I studied international communication at university, and now, I work as a video game tester and a language tutor.
So I have a love of video games, especially Nintendo, and Japanese anime holds a special place in my heart too:)

I am also passionate about illustration and creating graphic designs. I make visual designs for event posters or album jackets for fellow artists.
Inspirations for my art come from Japanese anime or traditional culture, I love creating a bridge between my two homes, aiming to create new and unique experiences along the way.

Tutoring Experience:

I love assisting people around me on their Japanese language journey—whether it's for diving deeper into Japanese culture, gearing up for travel adventures, or just for the pure joy of learning.
Back in my university days in Japan, I had the pleasure of teaching Japanese. Now, as an English tutor, I help Japanese students online.
My approach involves creating customised lesson plans and learning materials that align with each student's unique needs and goals.

I do enjoy helping people to enjoy their hobby, or to achieve certain goals such as for study, exam or work by teaching language.
It brings me a joy to support people in enjoying their hobbies or achieving specific milestones, be it for studies, exams, work, or just the love of language.

Approach to Grinds:

I do know how tough it is to reach certain level of language. I started studying English when I got into the UK rock scene when I was a teenager and it has been a long journey of study.
I understand how challenging it can be to reach a certain level of proficiency in a language. My own journey with English began when I immersed myself in the UK rock scene as a teenager, and it's been a long learning adventure since then.
