Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified teacher of maths and economics with 10 years experience of giving grinds to secondary school students. I have an undergraduate degree in Actuarial and Financial studies from UCD and recently completed the Professional Master of Education at DCU. Back when I was in school, I received both the highest Junior and Leaving Cert results in my year. In grinds I focus on exam technique and getting the most out of the marking schemes.

I genuinely love giving grinds and really care about making sure that all my students become more confident in their own Maths abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in schools up to Leaving Cert higher level for 3 years and have 10 years of experience giving grinds to secondary school students.

I have also corrected mocks for DEB.

I have tutored maths to numerous foundation year students and also helped college students repeat maths and economics exams.

I understand that maths can be a difficult subject which may seem overwhelming for some students. My aim is to help my students understand concepts and methods on the syllabus and then give them the confidence to be able to solve problems using the skills that they have learned.

Approach to Grinds:

I normally tutor students one-to-one for one hour per week, however, longer classes or group lessons can also be arranged.

All grinds are currently online grinds via Zoom.
