I have been teaching 15 years. I have thought online and in-person all age groups and in all settings from primary school children, to adult, colleges, universities and in businesses.
I also have IT Industry experience, having been in IT Management positions within numerous businesses in Ireland.

When not teaching or lecturing, I'm continuously updating my subject matter knowledge and how to effectively deliver it.

Approach to Grinds:

When I'm working with a student, I get to the root cause of their difficulty. I illustrate difficult topics with real-world examples that are more relatable and easier to understand.
Use 21st Century Teaching and Learning and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles in my delivery. These include critical thinking and multiple ways delivery methods of subject material, from written, to visual and video. I enhance lesson delivery through learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle. Plus use tools such as Zoom, Kahoot and Repl.it.
