Personal Description:

I am a PhD student at the School of English Drama and Film at UCD. I am working on African American Literature in the 20th century, focusing on Gender and Hair Studies. Academia and teaching has always fascinated me and I have been a part of academia, having taught at school and university levels since 2013. I am currently a tutor at UCD. I love reading and painting during my free time.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds would be firstly to ensure that the student is comfortable and is able to relax and communicate with me easily. I will provide support to explain core areas and offer clear learning objectives. I believe grinds should be a learning opportunity and initiating a clear channel for communication and feedback is crucial for the success of such sessions.
