Personal Description:

First class honour M.A. Post Primary Education graduate (Spanish and Digital Technology). First class honour graduate in M.A. in Bilingual & Multicultural Education. B.A. International (Spanish, Sociology and Political Science). I lived in Spain for three years, and I have spent numerous summers in the south of Spain. From studying French for my Leaving Certificate to studying Spanish at beginners level in University, I have compiled many language learning techniques over the years, which have been further enhanced through my undergraduate and teaching degrees. From spending years in Spain, my attention to detail with pronunciation has also increased. In short, I am passionate about Spanish and thoroughly enjoy teaching it to others and helping them to reach their potential.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught for three years in two bilingual schools in Madrid, Spain.
I am teaching in Ireland for 5 years now and have been an official oral examiner for SEC. I have years experience of delivering grinds in person and online.

Approach to Grinds:

I am patient and prioritize the most important aspects of the curriculum for students. I take an interactive approach and let students discover rules by getting them to identify patterns and irregularities in grammar, then I explain the reason behind the grammar using effective memory aids. I prepare oral scripts with students, tailoring them to be uniquely applicable to them, which in turn makes it easier for them to remember. I help students create the perfect oral script tailored specifically to them.
