Personal Description:

I am a recent graduate of Medical Science in University College Cork. I am a friendly and patient tutor. I am available for grinds online.

Tutoring Experience:

I have uploaded a few videos to youtube for Leaving Cert Applied Maths, Biology and German students (Help! I'm a leaving cert) as well as tutoring my sister in the days leading up to her Applied Maths exam. I have experience giving grinds in Leaving Cert and Junior Cert maths.

Approach to Grinds:

For Leaving and Junior Cert grinds I take an exam focused approach to grinds which involves ensuring student has the confidence to answer all questions on the paper, understands the material they are being examined on, the questions that are asked and the method of answering questions which will achieve the most marks.
For primary school grinds its about building confidence and understanding for students who find maths difficult and pushing students who feel they are not challenged in school to reach their full potential in a fun easy-going environment.
For study skills I help the student figure out their learning style, teach students how to time manage effectively, teach students about study stamina and how to avoid burnout.
