Personal Description:

Hello! I am a fully qualified German and Business teacher, having achieved a 1.1 in the Professional Master of Education course. I studied Commerce International with German for four years and went on to do the Professional Master in Education for two more years. I am an award-winning Business teacher, having obtained the highest result in the teaching of Business at the University of Galway (formally NUI Galway). I was awarded the John O'Connor accolade as a result. I am equally as passionate for my subject German and currently teach a full German timetable from 1st year to 6th year HL.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught higher level German at Leaving Cert level for two years in a row now. For my first year teaching Leaving Cert, 4 of my students obtained a H1, with many achieving a H2. I have experience with correcting the Junior Cycle German state exam and this experience focused my teaching. I very much have the ability and knowledge on how to guide a student towards a distinction at Junior Cycle level.

Approach to Grinds:

I am very much exam focused and teach directly to the state exam papers. I have the sufficient notes for the oral ready to go. I also have all the materials on themes prepared. I will provide the student with notes and do everything in my power to aid this student with their learning and practising with the language.
