Personal Introduction
My name is Sarmad. I have been living in Dublin, Ireland for last 7 years, and working here full time in healthcare industry as a Group Financial Reporting Lead.

Qualification and Experience
I hold two of the most prestigious accounting qualifications i.e… CA and ACCA, and a complete member of both of the bodies. I have always been a top notch student and passed all my professional examinations in first attempt.

In terms of my experience, I am associated with accounting and assurance profession for more than 12 years now. I have over 8 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms, 2 years of experience in financial technology industry and 2 years of experience healthcare industry. Currently I am leading accounting function of a healthcare group based in Dublin and responsible for group consolidation function.

Tutoring Experience:

Teaching Experience and Preferences
I have taught (personally and professionally) individual students online and in person for good number of years, hence I am experienced in this role. I also have keen interest in sharing my knowledge to others, as it says knowledge increase when shared. All my students rate me very highly.

I will bring in a flavour of book-ish knowledge and practical knowledge as well from my extensive experience in the industry. I understand, that in this day and age, practical knowledge is very important as the more close a student will be towards reality, the better it is to adjust in the practical world.

Approach to Grinds:

I have always adopted different approach to cater the individual needs of students. No single approach is perfect. I always try to understand the approach with which a student will consume knowledge more effectively and adopt that approach for that particular student.

My approach for teaching will be tailored for each individual student. I am also flexible on timings and will try to accommodate my students as much as possible in terms of timings (weekends, and after office hours on weekdays).
