Personal Description:

I'm an ESL teacher with 5 years of experience. I've worked in Ireland, Spain, Brazil and Thailand. I speak intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel Spanish and Portuguese so I can help you if you're a beginner and speak either of these languages. I'm patient and thorough and I enjoy teaching.

Tutoring Experience:

I began teaching during a year out from university. I spent nine months as a teaching assistant in primary schools in France. After university, I decided to do a CELTA course and I've been teaching ever since.

I've taught in Ireland, Spain and Brazil. I've always combined one-to-one classes with teaching in schools and I think this has helped me become a more dynamic and creative teacher.

Approach to Grinds:

I like to meet students before beginning lessons in order to establish their level and goals. This way people can see if I'm the right tutor for them.

I think interest is key to learning languages. Therefore, I try to base my lessons not only on your needs but also on your interests. This means using diverse materials and teaching vocabulary and grammar in an engaging context. I like to use original texts, videos, songs and flashcards (depending on the level of the student).
