Information About Sam - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Sam, I am a 20 year old UCD entrance scholar currently studying Physics and Maths in University. I am currently in my second year of University. I achieved H1s in both Physics and Maths in my own leaving certificate, and am familiar with the curricula.

Tutoring Experience:

I gave Higher Level Physics grinds to two Leaving Cert students and to one 5th year student last year with a different company. I also gave a student Junior Certificate science grinds, and am currently providing one student with Junior Cert Maths grinds. I have also given grinds to friends and family in the past, such as to my younger brother.

Approach to Grinds:

For Leaving Cert Maths and Physics I have created my own series of notes which I provide to students, focusing on exam technique and common exam topics. I tend to teach topics at request of the student, and prefer to first discuss what is already known before linking in the important extra material to build a better understanding. I like to work through examples of questions step by step first, and then allow students to attempt similar questions to build confidence in the material.
