Personal Description:
My name is Sadhbh and I've been a fully qualified teacher for 3 years now. I've a great interest in Art as well as sport, having played camogie nearly all my life. I'm fluent in Irish, I've nearly exclusively taught through Irish.
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience teaching in Gaelcholáiste, in both Dublin and Cork. History weighs 30% in Senior Cycle Art, so I have both experience in teaching theory as well as practical. I'm fluent in Irish so I can offer help with spoken Irish to build confidence in the subject, as well as the theory side of the subject.
Approach to Grinds:
My approasch to grinds would be to offer a space where students can showcase their strengths as well as their weaknesses, so as all aspects of the subject can be improved. Independent work would be given for use as study which would be corrected together. Essays would be corrected as well as feedback highlight aspects that need improvement as well as strengths that the student possesses. I am happy to offer grinds through both English and Irish, or a mixture of both.
