Personal Description:

Native Spanish teacher from Mexico.
I am a fully qualified teacher who holds a B.Ed.-Distinction in education from The Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez. I also own a 120 hours TESOL certificate and a Speech and Language Specialist certificate, both by International Open Academy.

I lived in Spain for 2 years, therefore I have knowledge of both the Spanish and Latin American accents and vocabularies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 3 years of experience working as a language teacher (English and Spanish) with students of all ages from Primary school to mature students.

Additionally, I used to work as a Spanish Speech therapist, this experience has given me the tools to help my students achieve better pronunciation of this language.

Approach to Grinds:

I prefer a communicative approach (speaking classes) to help my students achieve a better understanding of the grammatical content, as well as gain confidence when speaking Spanish.
Moreover, I like to make use of visual aids (diagrams, pictures and videos) to easily convey the contents of the lesson.

Having taught English I can help my students to overcome any confusion that can arise during the class.
