Information About Rebecca - Galway tutor

Personal Description:

I am a qualified primary school teacher for the past three years. I did my masters in primary teaching with Hibernia College. Previously I was an actor and have a masters in Theatre and Performance from Trinity College. I love teaching and especially love all things related to English. Tutoring Experience:

I have spent the past three years teaching in Dublin, Galway and online. I have taught numerous different age groups, along with SET. I have worked with children for whom English is a second language and those with different learning needs. I find teaching English and Maths to be very dynamic and love teaching through discussion and performance.

Approach to Grinds:

I am a friendly, warm and encouraging teacher and I want the children to feel confident in their abilities. We will begin the lessons at the level the child is at and focus the lesson on the areas that they are struggling with the most. We will engage in active learning, having discussions and learning through creative methods such as poetry and story telling. I always strive to make the lesson as engaging as possible for each child.
