Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and upbeat tutor keen to invest in, help and foster confidence in my students! Currently working in Business Strategy, my degree is in International Commerce with Spanish with a major in Economics. I know what learning Business and Spanish as a non-native in the Irish education system is like, having studied it in school and University. I have full fluency in Spanish, having studied it throughout my four-year University degree and living and studying in Bilbao, northern Spain for a year.

In addition to my professional and academic experiences, I have a strong background in tutoring Spanish, Economics and Business to Leaving Cert and Spanish to Adult casual students . I’ve successfully tailored my teaching approach for students with varying proficiency and understanding, leading to consistent high grades.

Tutoring Experience:

Over the course of four years at University and alongside my full time job the past year, I had the pleasure of tutoring a number of different students in Spanish, Business and Economics. My approach as a tutor was not just about teaching; it was about adapting to the needs of each student and helping them succeed - each student is unique and has their strengths and weaknesses, and I always develop individualised teaching plans.Interactive teaching is key so the student can apply their learnings and make lessons more engaging for them.

I encourage two-way communciation and feedback where students and parents can work with me on their development - students are kept in the loop on lesson and development plans and are encouraged to share their needs and concerns in the subject.

I have found that these personalised plans with two-way communication and collaboration are instrumental in ensuring that each student consistently achieves higher grades and builds their confidence in the process.
