Information About Perrine - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am a 25-year old qualified French lawyer, who is passionate about different languages and cultures. I have recently moved from Paris to Ireland and would enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for learning languages with you. I am from a little sunny village in the south of France and really enjoy countryside life. Due to my studies, I have lived in different countries. I have worked as a lawyer and also as a language tutor, teaching French and English to students in primary and secondary school. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and dancing.

Tutoring Experience:

Over the last several years, I have been tutoring students of different ages in English and French. My experience includes:
- preparing students in written and oral French for the French equivalent to the Junior and Leaving Certificate exams
- French lessons to Erasmus students
- English lessons for 11-year old students, involving both individual and group classes
- French law classes to university students, notably in European law and French Civil and Public law.

Approach to Grinds:

Learning French with the topics you like and discovering, beyond the language, the French way of life.

My goal is to make you feel like you're having a coffee with me in Paris and to give you the motivation necessary to progress quickly in French. I like to begin my lessons with a quiz to evaluate your level, get to know you, your interests and what you expect from the class. Based on our first discussion, I adapt my way of teaching and the topics of the lessons.

I know it can be tough to keep the motivation to learn a language so I try to be creative and propose fun activities such as learning a grammar point with a song, drafting a French diary, teaching you my way of baking French pastries or doing TikTok challenges in French!
If you are preparing for a French exam or any other subject in French, we can tailor the content of the lessons to your particular needs.

As I am a fully qualified lawyer, I can also offer more specialised lessons focused on business or legal French terminology.
