Personal Description:

Graduate of Theoretical Physics at Trinity College, Dublin, first class honours I-I (74%). I completed my Leaving Certificate in 2016 (the first year to complete the full, new project maths course), with 585 points awarded.

I am sociable and approachable, with good communication skills, and several years of one-to-one tutoring experience

I have an excellent grasp of the secondary school maths and physics courses

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring in maths and physics for the last six years, resulting in very satisfied students. All attaining desired junior and leaving cert scores in 2022.

I have worked in several homework clubs run by the Vincent De Paul society, working with primary school children in the city centre

Approach to Grinds:

I aim to help students have a better understanding of the maths and physics they are studying, rather than ro**Contact Detail Removed**arning methods which are hard to remember and to get right in an exam. I believe that by learning this way, which is often not the case in some schools, students will be more successful and comfortable in exams.

I will focus also on the few aspects of the courses which require some memorisation, with an efficient, motivated approach.

I aim to make the work more interesting, as this is the only way to engage and improve. I try never to have a student who is bored. I have met countless students who have no interest and dread learning these topics they struggle with, and many who end up enjoying it once they see that they can indeed do it.
