Information About Michelle - Clonakilty tutor

Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Michelle. I've been teaching Spanish to Leaving Cert higher level in Irish secondary schools for more than 10 years. Prior to this, I lived and worked in Northern Spain. I am fully qualified with a B.A (Honours) and a Higher Diploma in Education. I am also Teaching Council registered and Garda vetted.

I am available to teach Spanish classes online and I'm excited to share my passion for languages with my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked as a Spanish teacher up to Leaving Cert higher level in both Irish speaking and English speaking schools in Ireland since 2009.
I also have vast experience working with the State Examinations Commission - as an Leaving Cert Spanish Orals Examiner and as a Written Examiner in Spanish to Junior and Leaving Cert higher level.

Approach to Grinds:

My priority is first to engage with the student and discover their priorities for their own language learning. We then decide on which direction to take and how best to achieve their language learning goals. I use customised notes and design my own resources to best suit the student.
For Senior Cycle, I work to the exam and focus on what the student wants to improve on. Also, strong focus on the oral exam and written work.
