Personal Description:

Hi! I'm a 21-year-old Energy Engineering student going into my final year at university.
Originally from France and Switzerland, I moved to Ireland for college—but I’ve been speaking both French and English since I was little. I did all my schooling in English, so I consider both languages my first languages.
As an engineering student, I have a strong background in maths and problem-solving, and I can break down tricky concepts in a way that’s easy to follow. Being a native French speaker also gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to helping with pronunciation, fluency, and understanding the subtleties of the language.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve already gained teaching experience by working with younger students in my school in Switzerland, where I supported them in both French and maths. I took on a teaching role—reviewing concepts, creating and going through exercises, and helping them build confidence in their understanding. For French, I focused especially on improving pronunciation and oral communication through direct conversation and guided practice.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe the most effective learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions and are given the time to really understand the material. I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining concepts clearly and adapting to each student’s pace and learning style.

For maths, I would break problems down step by step and provide plenty of practice to build confidence. For French, I take a conversational and practical approach—especially with pronunciation and oral fluency—while also supporting reading and writing skills as needed.

Each session is adapted to the student’s level and goals, whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or just gaining confidence in the subject. I'm patient, encouraging, and always happy to revisit topics until they make sense.
