Personal Description:

I am a young, approachable, innovative female teacher. I have always been extremely interested in science, therefore I first did a four year science degree in Galway. I wanted to pass this passion and love for science onto others so hence I decided to become a teacher and complete the professional masters of education. I understand that biology or science can feel challenging for others, therefore I break the information down as simple as it can be so it can be accessible to all.

Tutoring Experience:

I currently have six years teaching experience. From the beginning, I have always taught science and biology to higher level. Therefore, I have an in depth knowledge on the layout of the exam paper and most importantly, the topics that are repeated every year. I have developed my own notes on each topic that are both easy to understand and target knowledge specific to exam questions.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach is student focused as it is important for them to not only build on their knowledge but also exam technique. My aim is to focus on the topics that are always on the exam. This will make the paper more accessible to all and help build their confidence within the subject. Once the topic is complete, it is crucial to link this information to exam questions as it will help each student develop their understanding.
