Personal Description:

Hi
I'm Mark.

I have a degree in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Neuroscience also from Trinity. I received 7As in the Leaving cert, including As in higher level Maths, Physics and Applied Maths.

I offer ordinary and higher level Leaving Cert. and Junior Cert. maths grinds [Online grinds only at the moment].

Tutoring Experience:

I have been giving grinds to students for the past four years with great success.

Approach to Grinds:

I first discuss with the student what their requirements and abilities are. I like to ensure that the student fully understands the concepts and principles in maths, tailoring the lesson to the student's way of learning and encouraging questions. We then apply what we learned to past exam papers and problems.

Homework can be given if the student prefers.

Lessons are done currently via Skype and interactive online whiteboard.

I am passionate about teaching and it's always very rewarding to see a student improve and gain confidence with maths.
