Information About Marie - Donegal tutor

Personal Description:

I was born and raised in a Gaeltacht area meaning I only spoke in Irish to the majority of my family since I was knee high to a grass hopper! I love the whole Gaeilge culture and have played Gaelic football since I was 5 years old. I love travelling the world and experiencing new cultures.

Tutoring Experience:

I have carried out school placement the last 3 years remotely and in person and every experience was unique but I grabbed each opportunity with both hands. I adore teaching and working with young people. I sub in schools all over the country any chance I get and have taught in Gaeltacht colleges in my area. I do anything possible to share my passion for the language with others.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds would be very must student led. I believe the student is the most important person in a classroom and it is vital that sessions take place with the student at the fore. Each session is planned carefully to suit each student. Lessons will be predominantly in Gaeilge but english may be used until a learner is confident and comfortable enough to use the language. No student should ever feel under pressure or uncomfortable but always encouraged.
