Personal Description:
I am a retired civil engineer. I qualified in Cork in 1976. I also have an MBA (1990) fom the graduate school of business Cape Town South Aftica
I am also qualified as a TEFL teacher, Barcelona 2004
Tutoring Experience:
I live been teachng Englisb and Maths in Menorca Balearic Islands to Spanisb students since 2004. I am presently continuing my teaching online.
Approach to Grinds:
I explain concepts in simple terms and set problems for students and observe how they find solutions.
I focus on student"s understanding of the concept and i make them think of ways of finding solutions. I also stress careful reading of a problem and attention to detail.i really love teaching and have great patience. I am not watching the clock. It is more important and satisfying for me when students grasp concepts.
