Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Maria. Currently, I am studying psychology. As I was born and raised in Germany, German is my mother tongue (as well as Russian). Growing up foreign parents, learning German was somewhat more challenging. I learned a lot from these challenges which really helps me while tutoring. I hope to be able to help you as well.

Tutoring Experience:

I have done tutoring classes back in my old school at home and also when I went abroad (to London). Also, my brother had difficulties with assignments due to medical conditions, so I basically spent my life not only learning but explaining.

Approach to Grinds:

My strategy is to not only teach but make studying enjoyable. A study by Avner Ziv (1988) showed that fun and humour while learning increases the success significantly.
I believe that every person can use their own strength to improve areas of difficulty.
I can't really generalise my work as I believe everybody has their own way of succeeding. During the lessons we will develop an individual strategy to focus on your biggest challenges.

I do not live in Dublin anymore so I can only offer Online Classes!
