Personal Description:

I am a 23 year old online teacher from Wicklow with over two years of formal experience tutoring languages online. I graduated from Maynooth University with a BA in Nua-Ghaeilge and Sociology in 2022 and I have been working as an online teacher since then. I completed the LC in 2018 so I still have extensive recent knowledge of the course and what is expected to achieve the best outcome on your exam. I am passionate about the Irish language and I understand the necessary requirements to succeed in Irish state exams. I am looking forward to helping you!

Tutoring Experience:

I have a year's experience teaching Irish homeschooling lessons and Irish grinds for both JC and LC students. My exam students last year saw substantial improvements to their grades after some extra help, and their confidence with Irish was much improved. I also have 2 years of experience teaching ESL English online in 1-to-1 classes, so I am an expert at 1-on-1 language assistance classes, and I'm sure that I'll be the right fit for you!

I am a calm, approachable and friendly person, and my lessons reflect that energy. I support my students to overcome their difficulties with irish and to boost their confidence with the language in a calm and encouraging environment.
