Personal Description:

Bonjour! I'm Ludivine, a French native teacher from Le Havre, in Normandy.
I am a caring, curious and friendly person who finds reward in making a positive difference in the lives of the people surrounding me, helping them and getting the best out of them. Apart from being a people person, I am perseverant and see challenges as opportunities to improve yourself. This is why I am not giving up on my badminton, dancing or Hungarian lessons, as hard as they can be sometimes!
After a master degree in teaching French as a foreign language, my objective is to share not only the French language and culture but also my contagious passion for learning, teaching and developing communicative, playful and tailor-made materials, in order to help you achieve your goal and give the best version of yourself.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been providing fun, productive and tailor-made classes aligned with CEFR and adapted to many levels and needs including:
- Hybrid, online or on-site in local primary and secondary schools, or well-known institutes like the Alliance Francaise
- From complete beginners to bilingual children, Junior and Senior Cycle teens, university students, adults, corporates
- General French, specialized French, conversation, refreshers, corporate tuition, cultural workshops, exam preparation (DELF, DALF, Junior Cert, Leaving Cert…)

Approach to Grinds:

Doing grinds is a great way to reach your full potential in French. My approach consists in:
- Building a strong and trustworthy relationship with the student. Getting to know you, from your level of French to your hobbies, is important to find out the approach that works best for you.
- Setting clear and achievable objectives. The student and the teacher better collaborate if they know what to expect from each other. You learn something for a reason!
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, with or without mistakes, about real-life situations. To boost confidence and performance, I constantly provide constructive feedback on areas of improvement, but also on strengths.
- Following a lesson plan including interactive and authentic resources to practice grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing, and giving you options to practice outside the class at your own pace too. The more the merrier!
