Personal Description:
Hi, I am a 32 year old qualified Geography, Emglish and Politics & Society teacher. I have a keen interest in Geography and Politics and the constant changing dynamic of both subjects.
Tutoring Experience:
I graduated from NUIG in 2013 with a 1:1 Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I have teaching experience in both Ireland and the UK having taught in London for 6 years and Ireland, more recently for the past 3 years. I have 9 years experience of teaching senior cycle and junior cycle Geography aswell as 3 years experience of Politics and Society which is a relatively new subject over the last few years.
Approach to Grinds:
With giving grinds I try to provide the student with efficient revision techniques to help break information down. I also try to focus more on the exam skill of answering questions rather than focusing on rote learning. I am willing and open to adapting the tutoring to cater for the students needs.
