Information About Lorcán - Navan tutor

Personal Description:

I am an experienced and motivated teacher who has been teaching Leaving Cert Higher Level Irish for six years. I’m from Armagh but currently teach in Meath. I have taught Irish both north and south and am a former Fulbright scholar who taught Irish in America for a year. Currently I am the Irish Language officer for my club and I spend my summers teaching in an Irish college in Connemara.

Tutoring Experience:

- Have taught LC Higher and Ordinary Level Irish as well as JC Cert Higher Level and Ordinary Level Irish for six years.
- Experienced SEC Irish oral examiner
- Have worked in an Irish college in Connemara for the past two summers
- Worked in America as part of the Fulbright Program, teaching Irish in two different universities.

Approach to Grinds:

I will approach grinds on an individual basis based on the needs of each student. Developing confidence in speaking Irish is the main priority for any learner, therefore I aim to improve upon this from the start. I will work with each individual student to find exactly the area(s) in which they are struggling and develop a plan to help deal with the relevant challenges.
