Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Liam and I am a 21-year-old student studying Economics and Finance at University College Dublin.
I have been giving weekly grinds during the academic term successfully for the last three years and have attained an excellent reputation whilst doing so. I have had many direct referrals for extra grinds from my students who were happy with my service.
I'm a friendly, chatty guy with a huge interest in soccer, GAA, and non-fiction reading. I'm quite approachable and am always happy to help my students, whether it be during the grind or if they have a question afterwards on a problem they were stuck with.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a H1 student in mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Business and am currently in my final year of Economics and Finance in UCD where I maintain a first-class honours. Having achieved over 97% in my Leaving certificate maths exam, I consider myself to be highly knowledgable in all areas of the junior and leaving cert curriculums. I have been delivering grinds to secondary school students for three years now and is something that I am very passionate about.
I have a good chunk of experience delivering one-on-one grinds and group grinds both in-person and online. I conduct one-to-one online grinds and do group discounts also. I have been giving weekly grinds during the academic term successfully for the last three years and have attained an excellent reputation whilst doing so. I have had many direct referrals for extra grinds from my students who were happy with my service.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach to Grinds is to help the student fundamentally understand a concept and improve their problem-solving skills in order to help them help themselves when it comes to exams.
I provide the student with notes and mock exams to constantly keep them sharp up to exam time. I also provide a lot of study advice and strategy tips on how to do well on a particular subject or even how to just navigate the curriculum effectively and avoid burnout.
