Personal Description:

I am 23 and looking to teach grinds and give extra assistance to students in my free time. I am currently a PME Master's student due to qualify in May. I have a Bachelor's degree in both subjects and have a great interest and enthusiasm for the topics involved in my subject areas. I love working with students at the post-primary level and creating a positive learning relationship with them. I would love to assist students who are struggling in school or need extra time on their subjects and assist their journey towards exams, to help them achieve to suit their standard and ability.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and History. Now, I am currently in a post-primary school teaching English and History to both junior and senior cycles. Experience working with students with learning difficulties. I have experience teaching in multiple post-primary schools and in teaching grinds to students in English so far.

Approach to Grinds:

I would approach each student differently. Firstly I like to get to know the students, understand what they are struggling with in terms of the subject and know the texts/topics they are studying in school. I would plan to assist each student differently depending on their level and their struggles, it would be my aim for the student to see me as a helping hand rather than another teacher. I would prefer to help the student feel comfortable to express concerns and difficulties they are having with me that way I can assist them to the best ability. In relation to exam year students - I would narrow down what they need to work on or struggle with immediately so I can begin assisting them and help calm their nerves leading up to the exams.
