Personal Description:
I am registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland (# 232837) to teach Maths and Engineering. I have a Masters in Education from MIC and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UL. I qualified as an engineer from UL 2002, worked as an engineer for 15 years in Ireland and overseas, before becoming a teacher 2019.
Tutoring Experience:
Six years of teaching experience in post-primary schools and further education and training colleges since 2019.
Approach to Grinds:
Learner centered approach i.e. what is the learner finding difficult about the maths curriculum. I then target these areas with the learner with a view to deconstructing complexities by providing a system or method as to how to approach a maths question or problem with a renewed sense of self belief and confidence.
