Personal Description:

I hold a BA in Music and French from the University of Galway and a Master's degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have several years' experience teaching Music and French at second level, across both Junior and Senior Cycle. I also achieved Grade 8 in piano from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Composition
I am an award-winning composer, and my Master’s degree (Level 9) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland allows me to provide additional support for the composition component of both the Junior and Leaving Certificate Music exams.

Languages
I have a strong background in languages. In addition to my BA, I completed a Level 5 TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) with the TEFL Academy. I have a deep passion for the French language and culture, which I’ve continued to develop through both academic study and teaching experience.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching students of all ages, from children to teenagers and adults. Over the past few years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from individual piano lessons to second-level classrooms, as well as summer camps where I taught English as an additional language.
