Can teach any evenings besides Tuesdays and Thursdays as I coach a local football team.

Tutoring Experience:

2 years teaching experience in two different schools within the local area. Have worked with students from varying backgrounds. Currently undergoing multiple inspections as part of my degree - often praised for happy and relaxed learning environment, along with high student participation. Solely teaching junior cycle history and religion for the past 2 years, coupled with constant training of the junior cycle course in college.

Approach to Grinds:

Active learning will be at the forefront of lessons. Contrary to popular belief, the junior cycle has become about developing skills alongside knowledge rather than purely learning off notes. Lessons will include creative ways to interact with the course content such as KWLs (Know, Want to know, Learnt), Act Out Exercises, Opinions pieces, amongst others. Collaborative learning will be promoted - student and teacher agree on teaching method that student most enjoys and finds effective and work from there.
