Personal Description:

Hi there, I‘m a post primary teacher for Maths and Biology with more than 10 years of experience in giving grinds with a 100% pass rate so far!

I am a very patient teacher who has helped many before and I’m very much looking forward to helping you next :)

Tutoring Experience:

I finished my teachers training at the University of Vienna, AUT in 2015 and was teaching ages 10-18 from 2015 to 2019. Additionally I had been giving grinds for more than 10 years at that point.

I moved to Ireland in late 2019 and have been working as a post primary teacher ever since 2020, teaching mainly Maths (all years and levels) in post primary schools around Co. Kildare.

Approach to Grinds:

I usually talk to my students about what they feel to be the area/topic they struggle with the most or which they would like to start with.
If there are any tests/exams available, I ask for pictures to be sent to me before our first session, so I can review the student’s work and pin-point areas that need the most attention. While working on these topics certain habits or typical mistakes usually show and are then addressed as well.

The most important part for me is to make sure to create a calm and trusting environment in which every student can ask all the questions they might not have dared to ask in school.

I truly believe that everyone is capable of understanding Maths, sometimes it just takes a different approach to what was heard in class, some one-on-one time and a little confidence boost! :)
