Personal Description:

I am a freelance teacher and music educator. I have over 12 years experience of teaching.

I have taught in 3 schools focusing on the Junior and Leaving cert curriculum. I have also taught both through Irish in a Méan Scoil.

I am currently focusing on my conducting career but looking for grinds students online. I have written my own notes for both courses and my students have always achieved high results.

Approach to Grinds:

I aim to get the best out of all of my students. I build on everything. I ensure the students know the most basic concepts first. Following this I add to it little by little. I ensure students really understand all of the music in front of them. I put a huge emphasis on how to earn points within the course and how questions are weighted. Once the course is complete we spend a lot of time going through and doing music papers, analysing them, correcting them and making sure the students are ready for the exam.

None of my students have ever received below a C /H4. I am always on call correcting papers sent via email and sending them back outside of class time. I tailor all of my teaching to each individual student.
