Personal Description:

Hi there,

My name is John . I am from Portmarnock in North County Dublin. I have spent the last 10 years living and working in Madrid Spain.

This is where I taught English and worked as an actor. I also did the (Dele) Diploma en Língua Española level B2 in the Instituto de Cervantes. I am currently teaching C1 in (Dele) from the Instituto.

I love meeting people and teaching and am looking forward to working with you in doing the Leaving Certificate or other related exams in Spanish.

I am currently based in Lisbon and that is why I can keep my price at a good level. (since prices here are cheaper than Dublin).

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching English and Spanish over the past 10 years. I am very familiar with the Leaving Certificate both ordinary and higher level and have helped students pass comfortably.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach is to the direct method. It involves using L1 language for the entire lesson. This helps the student enormously as it better helps them with the oral and the rest of the exam. My approach is speaking first and then filter through to grammar and listening.

My lessons will be entirely online as I am based in Lisbon.
