Personal Description:

Currently tutoring Accounting and Finance at Dublin City University, I have recently graduated as an academic scholar with a first class honours in Global Commerce from the University of Galway and am a part qualified CPA accountant. I began my tutoring business 5 years ago upon completing my own leaving certificate with H1's in Accounting, Economics and Business. Being a relatively young tutor I pride myself in my ability to break the student teacher barrier and make a challenging subject more enjoyable for students and achieving the maximum potential of my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring individuals, groups and revision classes for 5 years now. I have a completely exam focused approach with the goal of ensuring that the student achieves the best possible result of their ability. I have thought students of all levels, having been successful in getting students with learning difficulties over the line at ordinary level, to supporting multiple H1 students. Accounting and economics can be daunting subjects to leaving certificate students, I simplify and summarise the course for them, showing them that it is not as hard as they once thought it was.

Approach to Grinds:

I provide a complete exam focused approach to tuition with my main priority being to ensure the student receives the highest possible grade of their potential. Being a relativity young tutor this provides me (and the student) with a substantial advantage, the student can relate to me and I find it easy to breakdown the student-teacher barrier. The student doesn't feel like I am telling them what to do but more so as if I'm helping them achieve their potential, making lessons more enjoyable and in turn easier for the student to learn. Inclusive of the price of the grind I provide both my own leaving cert notes that helped me achieve a H1 and personalised notes for the student.
