Information About Isobel - Bray tutor

Personal Description:

I am a first year medical student studying at The University of Galway who recently achieved 625 points in her Leaving Cert. I studied at the Institute of Education for 3 years (4th, 5th and 6th year) and I am looking to give online grinds via Zoom in Higher Level Maths (H1 - 97% achieved), Higher Level Spanish (H1 - 95% achieved overall, 99% achieved in oral) and Higher Level Biology (H1 - 100% achieved). My hours are flexible and I am able to provide extra support in the run up to Christmas exams, mock exams and orals if needs be. I will also provide students with support materials modelled off the notes I received when attending the institute and some of my own notes that helped me greatly in the run up to my own exams.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching both Junior Cycle Irish and Senior Cycle Higher Level Maths over the past year. I offered other students in my year help understanding concepts on the Higher Level Maths course and I have experience giving grinds to Junior Cycle Irish students.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is very student focused as I feel that each student has different needs and different areas for which they require extra help and support. I am willing to provide my students with notes and worked examples as well as one on one support in areas that they find particularly difficult. In addition I can provide learning focused games and activities to help my students understand key concepts in a fun and exam focused way.
