Personal Description:

Hi, I completed my Chemistry degree from UCC in 2006. I then completed my teaching degree in the UK in 2010. I have taught in numerous schools in the UK and in Ireland and during this time I have taught a wide variety of pupils. Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for 12 years and am currently teaching at a school in Cork. During this time I have provided private tuition to numerous pupils in Chemistry, Biology and Junior Cert Science. I have also worked as an examiner for the State Examinations Commission. This work gives me a vital insight to the entire exam process which forms an important part of my tuition to help pupils maximise their potential.

Approach to Grinds:

The needs of my pupils are always at the centre of my lessons. Identifying the areas that pupils need help understanding is key to my teaching and addressing these areas so that pupils' knowledge, understanding and confidence with the topics improves. Tacking exam style questions also forms an integral part of my lessons so that pupils are better able to answer these individually.
