Personal Description:

I am a primary school teacher from Dublin, Ireland. I have a degree in psychology from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Primary teaching from Maynooth. I also have a Masters in primary education, also from Maynooth University. I

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for 9 years. Eight of these have been in the Irish education system. I taught in Melbourne, Australia for a year which really added to my practice, particularly in terms of literacy. I have taught all levels and most recently taught 6th class for 3 years.

Approach to Grinds:

I think children achieving success and feeling a sense of pride in themselves is absolutely integral to progression. Unfortunately, a lot of children don’t experience this in the mainstream classroom and I believe Grinds are a brilliant opportunity for them to achieve success whilst learning in a one to one setting.
