Information About Grainne - Maynooth tutor

Personal Description:

I am an outgoing friendly individual with a passion for the Sciences and education. I completed a concurrent education course, a BSc in Science Education in DCU, graduating with a 2:1. I specialised in Physics and Chemistry.

Tutoring Experience:

I am teaching in a mixed Community College. I have been teaching Physics, Chemistry and Science for 5 years in this school. I have experience in giving grinds also in Physics and Chemistry to LC as well as Maths and Science grinds in the junior cycle.

Approach to Grinds:

For grinds I like to take a one to one approach, preferably taking each subject topic by topic and breaking it down in easy to understand notes. Then by doing out questions with the student, I will give some questions for them to do on their own, which I will correct and give them individual feed back on. I also like to help the students work on their exam strategies, so they can approach the exam using their strengths and in the best way possible in order to get the best grade they can.
