Information About Grainne - Dundalk tutor

Personal Description:

I am a secondary school english and geography teacher with 6 years full time teaching experience. I am offering grinds in Dundalk and surrounding areas. I am also available for online grinds. I am extremely passionate about both of these subjects and ensure I create a comfortable environment where my students are encouraged to ask questions and develop their understanding of topics covered.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 5 years full time teaching experience. I have taught in different schools over the years both in Ireland and abroad which has provided me with a wide range of experience.

I teach both higher level and ordinary level English to Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. I also teach common level geography to Junior Cycle students and I have also taught ordinary and higher level geography to Leaving Certificate students.

I also correct State Examinations, so I'm familiar with the marking schemes, layout of papers and where students gain marks and lose marks.

Approach to Grinds:

I create lessons tailored to the level of the students and my lessons are centred around the course content the student would like assistance with. Each year, I ensure students are well prepared for their exams, understand the examination paper layout, making schemes etc. I am very adaptable to ensure each of my students can reach their potential.

I provide students with detailed notes on topics and develop the students approach to answering exam questions.
