Information About Grace - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a fluent french speaker from having lived in France. I received a H1 in my leaving cert. I offer grinds to students looking to improve their oral and written french, I have lots of experience with helping my classmates and students improve their french whether that’s for conversational french or to tackle the leaving cert.
I offer grinds from primary school to leaving cert level to help students achieve their goals in french!

Tutoring Experience:

I have done mock orals with students in the leaving cert in order to prepare them for their orals. I have tutored students and aided them with their essay skills, which in turn has built their vocabulary and helped their oral skills too. Teaching is a passion of mine, I have been a swimming teacher for over 2 years. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

Approach to Grinds:

At the beginning of my session with my students, I gauge their spoken french through conversation as well as their written french by assessing some of the work they have done for school that they have provided me with. This allows me to pinpoint the most important aspects of their french to improve in a way that is easy to follow. I incorporate written and oral skills in to the sessions in order to improve the students overall french, while also focusing on the french accent- a vital part of learning any language!
My students guide their learning, by bringing me questions and aspects of french that they would like to improve or learn about. This hands on approach allows students to become more comfortable in the language.
I am very familiar with the leaving cert and junior cert curriculum for french and as such I am very aware of how students can maximise their marks!
