Personal Description:

13 years of experience teaching Biology science, PE and Leaving Cert PE - including PA and PAP projects.
I have also corrected state exams for Leaving cert Biology and Junior cert science. My passion for health and exercise comes through in my teaching as topics in these subjects can very much relate to our everyday lives.

Tutoring Experience:

Biology, Science and Leaving cert PE. 13 years teaching Biology and science to all levels and correcting state exams. Also more recently teaching the new Leaving cert PE course and guiding students through their projects - PA and PAP. Have also taught abroad for 2 years to students with english as additional language.

Approach to Grinds:

I aim to explain topics and concepts as clearly as possible with examples and visuals to help students understand their notes so they can then become easier to learn. Once topics are explained and understood the main focus is exam technique and practice for students.
I have designed my own sample answers for each topic as a guide to demonstrate the level of detail and accuracy of keywords needed.
I also give students simple revision aids and keywords to assist students learning.
