Personal Description:

My name is Fiona. I have an honours degree in Neuroscience from University College Cork.
I have completed a profesional masters in post primary education to teach biology at senior cycle level and science at junior certifica**Contact Detail Removed**vel. I am teaching full time biology and science for 5 years. I have an excellent knowledge of both the science and biology curriculum and will provide resources to help with study. I am willing to travel to tutor but can offer online as well. I have experience marking leaving certificate biology papers giving me a good understanding of marking schemes etc. and what is required to achieve good grades. I am happy to give professional references if requested. I have been giving grinds for both subjects for over 5 years.

I am offering JC science and LC biology (higher and ordinary).

Face to face or online grinds can be arranged.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching in different schools at both junior and senior cycle level so am fully aware of the curriculums and its expectations. I am currently employed full time as a post primary teacher working with junior and senior cycle students in science and biology.

Approach to Grinds:

I think understanding and catering to different students specific learning styles is key. I have a wide variety of resources that can be adapted depending on the individual students needs. I am passionate about the subjects and it comes across in my teaching. Working on answering questions is key and ensuring the students is giving enough information, this is where my experience with correcting helps.
